Mid-Day Update (24 Jan 2006)

SPOLYMR reported reasonably strong quarterly results yesterday (earnings up 30.5% from same qtr last year, 22% from last qtr), stock duly dropped by 3c this morning...and it hadn't even gone up before the announcement. Just beautiful... At least, FONICS is performing well since purchase. LIONDIV also tested 3.00 level again.

UMW: -1,000 (6.00) ... Cost 5.75, Balance 2,000... Supposed to be best auto sector stock and all, but just too slow for me.
